This locomotive was originally built in Poland for industrial use. It was imported to the UK in the early 2000’s and has been based at the Avon Valley Railway since 2004, and a regular performer on passenger trains. ‘Karel’s’ current boiler ticket expired in July 2026 and is now out of service, awaiting overhaul.
