Dining Trains

Join us onboard a unique first class dining train experience.

Settle into the elegance of a beautifully restored heritage carriage, with polished wooden panelling interior, crisp white linen tablecloths and comfortable seating – all of which create the perfect setting for a truly special experience.

You’ll embark at Bitton Station (BS30 6HD) before the whistle sounds and the train gently pulls away.

In the kitchen car, our volunteer catering team will be busily preparing refreshments with the finest ingredients from the region, while you relax and watch the Avon Valley countryside roll by. During your experience, the onboard bar will be open, and attentive staff will be happy to help.

If you’re looking for a unique gift, birthday or Christmas present, why not choose from one of our gift vouchers?

Your train departs from Bitton Station (BS30 6HD) and heads on a short 5 minute journey towards the northern terminus station at Oldland Common. There are opportunities to alight and watch the train crew uncouple the locomotive to run-round the carriages, re-attaching the engine to the southern end of the train.

There will be another opportunity for photos and to see the locomotive run-round again, before re-attaching for the final leg of the journey back to Bitton Station.

Breakfast Train and Cream Tea guests are served over one roundtrip – two roundtrips are provided for those enjoying Bitton Belle Sunday Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Pie & Pint, Fish n Chips Fryer, Pines Express and Murder Mystery experiences.
