    Our station buffet is open daily (except Christmas Day) from 9.30am (10.00am in Winter) serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.

    We offer a daily menu of breakfast, home-cooked lunches (including daily specials), sandwiches, jacket potatoes and home-made cakes and sweets.  Our Sunday roast lunches are especially popular and can be booked in advance.

    Seating is either on the platform terrace or inside in our two static a1950s carriages ‘Margaret’ and ‘Rose’ giving you the chance to dine in a heritage railway carriage and watch the trains go by.  ‘Rose’ is also available for private parties, anniversaries and other family gatherings.

    We welcome cyclists and walkers from the Bristol & Bath Railway Path as well as visitors to the railway.  All profits from the Buffet are ploughed back into our latest projects so why not visit us soon and help us secure our future?  Our friendly staff look forward to welcoming you.

    Private Functions & Group Bookings

    We welcome bookings for group visits and can cater for parties large and small.

    We can also offer a discrete and personal service for those family occasions such as funeral wakes or celebrations of life.


    We offer several special menu options; either finger or knife & fork buffets, or more formal two or three course meals.

    Please note advance booking and ordering must be made with the Buffet for these functions and menus for a minimum of 20 persons
