This locomotive was originally built in Poland for industrial use. It was imported to the UK in the early 2000’s and has been based at the Avon Valley Railway since 2004. It is a regular performer on our passenger trains. Karel’s current boiler ticket expires in mid-2026 at which point it will be withdrawn for overhaul.
