The Buffet
The Buffet at Bitton Station is open daily (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day) serving hot and cold food, drink and snacks.
Buffet opening hours (updated September 2026)
- Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, kitchen closes 2pm
- Weekends 9am-4pm (5pm when trains are running), kitchen closes 2.30pm
Seating is either on the platform terrace or inside in our static 1950s carriage ‘Margaret’ giving you the chance to dine in a heritage railway carriage and watch the trains go by.
We welcome cyclists and walkers from the Bristol & Bath Railway Path as well as visitors to the railway. All profits from the Buffet are ploughed back into our latest projects so why not visit us soon and help us secure our future? Our friendly staff look forward to welcoming you.

Sunday Lunch
Our highly-popular traditional Sunday roast is available most Sundays throughout the year.

Sunday Lunch does need to be prebooked and we ask for a £10 deposit per person. Tables can be cancelled up to 48 hours before arrival. After this time, the deposit is non-refundable.
