Opening hours:

Bitton Station is open every day except Christmas Day, and entry to our station building is free. We operate steam or diesel trains 120 days a year, mostly at weekends plus some weekdays during the school holidays.

There’s no need to book tickets for our standard operating days. You can buy these from the booking office, which opens approximately 30 minutes before the departure of the first train. Our events, Santa and dining trains are pre-bookable though and do sell out, so you’ll need to book these in advance.

Our Buffet is open daily (except Christmas Day), serving a range of hot and cold refreshments. Closing hours vary throughout the year, but the doors open at 9:00 every day.
Our gift shop is open on our train running days from 10:00 – 16:30. Please see our timetable page below to find out when trains are next running.
Our station toilets are open to the public daily from 9:00 – 16:30. Please note that our accessible toilet is located in our buffet and is therefore available subject to the buffet’s opening hours.
