Carols and Steam

Saturday 2nd December 2023 at 6.45pm.

Bristol and South Gloucestershire Methodists invite you to Carols and Steam at the Avon Valley Railway. Enjoy a steam train trip with carols at each station and music provided by Bristol East & Kingswood Brass Band before returning to Bitton for tea, coffee and a mince pie.

Tickets cost £10 for adults, Children (5-16) are £5 and under 5s go free!

CHRISTMAS CAROL DINING TRAIN

Your evening starts with a Mulled Wine welcome on the platform before taking your seats for a traditional Christmas meal served while the train is in the station. After the main course, passengers will be invited to take part in our Carols and Steam event in conjunction with Bristol & South Gloucestershire Methodists. Carols will be sung at Bitton station before rejoining the train for the journey to Oldland Common.

After more carols on the platform, a tasty dessert will be waiting at your table. We make a final stop at Avon Riverside station for more carols before ending our evening with tea, coffee and mince pies on return to Bitton.

A portion of your ticket fare will go to support the two charities benefiting from the Carols and Steam event, Action for Children & The Railway Children.
