NO TRAINS UNTIL 22 MAY
We are really sorry to have to announce that we wont be able to run train services until 22 May. We had hoped to be able to run trains over the bank holiday weekend, but you will be aware that we’ve had to extend some engineering works meaning we weren’t able to run.
Unfortunately, we became aware this week that South Gloucestershire Council’s public health team are concerned about whether we should be running prior to the next stage of unlocking on 17th May. Despite other heritage railways already being open and able to operate we have been expressly denied permission to operate prior to the 17th. This is very disappointing, especially with all the measures we have been putting in place to keep people safe and control the spread of the virus.
Therefore, our first public running day will now be on Saturday 22 May.
If you’ve already booked tickets We’re really sorry to have to postpone your trip as we know people are really looking forward to visiting us again. But, we hope you understand that public safety must come first. We very much hope you’ll be able to swap to another day, and you’ll be pleased to know there are tickets still available for the coming weeks. If you have already have tickets booked our ticketing partner Quay Tickets will be in touch.
