Today is the last public operation of Black 5 No. 45379. The locomotive will haul the five trains of the day’s standard timetable with a proportion of the income being donated to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway’s Landslip Appeal. Ticket prices are the usual Adult £6.50, Concession £5.50 and Child £4.00.
Today we are also offering the chance to drive one of our diesel shunting locomotives, Ruston Hornsby 0-6-0DH No. 429 'River Annan'. £10 will allow a number of trips along the Up platform and sidings, lasting around 5 minutes.
