We are delighted that GWR heavy freight locomotive No. 4247 will be operating an additional service on Sunday 20th November.
The locomotive has recently completed a major overhaul at the Flour Mill Workshops in the Forest of Dean and has arrived at the Avon Valley Railway for running-in.
We are pleased that the locomotive will be operating on the 20th November, to our A Timetable, and during the day we are welcoming the owners of the locomotive who will be here for their Annual General Meeting.
