With Christmas almost upon us we'd like to thank those of you who have already travelled on the Santa Specials and look forward to seeing those yet to join us. With just a few seats left on Friday 23rd we are hopeful that our visitor numbers for the 2011 Santa Specials will top the 10,000 mark.
There have been many comments and letters of appreciation received, but the following from one of our customers sums up the sentiments expressed in many:
"Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how pleased we were with Santa's train ride on Saturday.
My Grandchildren absolutely loved everything about it, and we thought it was great value. The boys gifts were very good quality & the scrumptious biscuits & mince pies... well what can I say, they were yummy!
All the staff were extremely courteous & most helpful, please pass on my thanks to all concerned.
I've tried many Santa's over the years. This year the Avon Valley Railway is now classed as the best all round Santa experience, & I will most definitely be recommending it to family & friends."
