    English Mid-Summer Wine Tasting 21st June 2017

    Join Avon Valley Railway for a fascinating tasting of delicious English wines!

    The English Mid-Summer Wine Tasting will see one of the largest collections of English Wine ever put before a public audience to taste and enjoy. This will be a superb opportunity to expand your knowledge and appreciation of English wines, over a delicious three-hour tasting of fine English wines from some of the very best vineyards in England.

    We are pleased to announce that the following vineyards are participating at the event:
    Mumfords
    Quoins
    Dunleavy
    Aldwick
    Oatley
    Wraxall
    Langham Estate
    Smith & Jones Wines
    Castlebrook
    Bosue
    Three Choirs

    In addition Bramley and Gage, producers of premium English gins (based in Thornbury), will be presenting their range of gins and fruit liqueurs. Bath Soft Cheese will be there presenting their locally produced cheeses,

    Waitrose are partnering the event, presenting a selection from their extensive range of English Wines. The other partner is the English Wine Producers Group, who will be presenting this year’s award winning English Wines.

    Please note: Limited ticket availability. Early booking is strongly advised. Tickets cost £15 to include admission to the event, wine and cheese tasting from the producers. Tasting glasses, crackers, artisan bread, water and notes will also be provided..
