Children's Birthday Parties

Give your child a birthday party to remember on one of our trains.

We can provide reserved seating for up to 16, 32 or 64 people in one of our 1950s railway carriages on most steam and diesel operating days between Easter and October. Sessions can be booked for either morning (11:00 to 13:15) or afternoon (14:45 to 17:00).

Each party lasts for just over two hours, during which time you will be able to enjoy two return trips on the train – north to Oldland Common platform, then south into the Avon valley to Avon Riverside where you can watch the engine run around the train.

If you wish, you may decorate the train with balloons and banners. Refreshments can be bought from us or you can provide your own.

As these parties are very popular, please contact the Booking Office to ensure your preferred date and time is available before making any arrangements.

Fare Information

Adult: £6.50 (first two adults FREE)
Child: £5.00

A minimum charge of £50 applies and is required to confirm your booking. This £50 deposit is non-refundable.
The final cost will depend on numbers and whether or not we are providing the catering. Please contact us for further information.

Whilst every effort will be made to maintain the timetable the Company does not guarantee that the trains will depart at the times stated, and reserves the right to cancel, alter or suspend any train without notice or to substitute any locomotive. No liability for loss or inconvenience can be accepted.
