axa visit june 2009

axa 2009Once again, employees of the insurance company AXA have made a huge difference to the Railway.

About thirty employees, spread over three days, carried out maintenance and gardening work at all three stations during June. They cut back hedges at Oldland Common and Bitton and weeded and planted at Avon Riverside. All of this work was part of AXA’s Community Challenge initiative, where local employees give something back to their local community.

Why not come along to the Railway over the next few weeks and see what a great job they did. The Trust would like to thank all the AXA employees who came and supported the Railway.
